Residential or Commercial Needs Assessment

A Needs Assessment is the first step in order for Lighting Professionals Inc to understand the scope of your project; the architectural space; your intended use and any visions or desires you have for lighting.

This Needs Assessment is free if the meeting takes place within a normal hours drive of Lighting Professionals’ offices. The gathered information provides Lighting Professionals Inc the information necessary to understand the time required to design, specify and layout the lighting. Time requirements become the basis for our fee for services.

Preliminary Designs

There is always more than one way to light a space. Your dreams, vision and use dictate a direction for the design. So does the architectural space, the budget, and intent of the architect and/or interior designer. Our preliminary designs let you see the best options to meet all criteria. Your final decisions are what become the final blueprints and lighting specifications.

Completed Blueprints

A finished blueprint includes: Layout of lighting fixtures; coding of light fixtures to coordinate with lighting specifications and controls; measurements for all fixture locations; control intent of all light fixtures/all rooms; detailed written lamp and fixture specification; written intent of aiming for all adjustable light fixtures. These blueprints are usually created on CAD drawings provided by the project architect.

Completion of Project

Lighting Professionals Inc reviews installed work and provides supervision for aiming of adjustable light fixtures.
